LAMP is open to everyone, regardless of age, health status, or insurance coverage. There are no pre-screenings or medical history reviews required.
No, LAMP is not a major medical health insurance; it is a program designed to lower point-of-care barriers to accessing healthcare at Doctors Hospital.
You can use your LAMP Benefits at any Doctors Hospital Location in New Providence or the Family Islands.
You can pay your membership fees in several ways. Firstly, you can pay your LAMP membership fees using our online payment portal using your unique Patient Number provided to you upon sign up. If you do not know your Patient Number, email lamp@doctorshosp.com with your name and date of birth, or call or WhatsApp (242) 822-1009. Secondly, you can pay your LAMP Membership Fees via bank transfer. Please include your Patient Number in the Account Number field. Lastly, you can also pay in-person at our Doctor’s Hospital locations.
If you are a LAMP member and you wish to end your LAMP membership plan or switch to another plan, please notify us in writing, including your full name and member ID/patient number, to lamp@doctorshosp.com at least 30 days before the desired date of plan cancellation/change.
Yes, you can sign up for LAMP even if you don’t have health insurance! There are no pre-screenings or age caps, making it easy for anyone to access the program.
To become a LAMP member, sign up online here or using the form above. Once you submit your application, you will receive an invoice within 5-7 business days for your membership fees and information on how you can pay.
Once you submit your application, you will receive an email confirmation. Within 3-5 business days, you will receive your initial membership fee invoice for you and any eligible dependents and ways you can pay. Once your premium is paid, you will be given your enrollment start date and a date to pick up your welcome packet.
There are three LAMP plans to choose from:
- LAMP Access: Free to sign up, offering 10% discounts on labs, prescription medications, and imaging.
- LAMP Primary: For $40 (+VAT), you receive unlimited primary care visits, telehealth access, one free annual physical with labs, and discounts on labs, prescriptions, imaging, and more.
- LAMP Ultimate: For $119 (+VAT), you get all LAMP Primary benefits plus six urgent care visits per year, a $25 flat fee or 30% discount on prescriptions, unlimited lab and imaging services, and more.
LAMP Access, which is free to join, provides a 10% discount on lab services, prescription medications, imaging services, and discounted mammograms.
The LAMP Primary plan, priced at $40 (+VAT), includes:
- Unlimited primary care and telehealth visits
- One free annual physical (with labs)
- 30% discount on labs and prescriptions
- Two free imaging services per year (X-ray, Ultrasound, CT Scan, MRI)
- One free mammogram per year
- Two free nutritional consultations per year
- 20% discount on outpatient rehab and inpatient admissions
- $500 Upfront Emergency Room Deposit (balance billed afterwards)
For $119 (+VAT), LAMP Ultimate provides:
Primary Care Visits – Unlimited in office and telehealth consultations. Appointments and Walk-ins are available. Physician consultation ONLY will be covered at 100%. All other services (if needed) within the visit will be discounted.
6 Urgent Care Visits per year.
One Annual Physical with labs will be covered at 100% per calendar year.
Unlimited Labs covered at 100% (when referred to by a DH physician) or 30% discounted if requested by external physician.
Unlimited X-rays or Ultrasounds covered at 100% (once referred by a DH Physician) or 30% discounted if requested by external physician. Two additional imaging services (MRI or CT scan ONLY) covered at 100% per calendar year.
Prescription Medication – a flat capped rate of $25 per prescription, per month (for qualifying medications) or a 30% discount if not on the list.
All outpatient rehabilitation services will be subject to a 20% discount once rendered at Doctors Hospital Rehabilitation Centre.
3 Nutritional consultations per year.
Members are awarded a reduced upfront ER deposit of $500 +VAT. Balance after the visit will be back billed.
Members are awarded a 20% discount on facility fees associated with inpatient admissions, day surgeries and procedures.
Depending on the plan, members receive 10% to 30% discounts on lab services and imaging. LAMP Primary and Ultimate members get free imaging services.
Yes, LAMP members receive discounts on prescription medications. LAMP Primary members get a 30% discount, while LAMP Ultimate members get a capped $25 flat fee for a wide selection of prescription medication or 30% discount on prescriptions not covered for $25.
LAMP members are eligible for a $500 deposit for ER visits, with the balance back-billed. This ensures that members receive emergency care without upfront payment concerns.
LAMP primarily covers primary care and urgent care services, but you can still receive discounts on labs and other services that may be needed as part of specialist care.
